Job summary

Care UK in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Care Assistant who is passionate about supporting residents and driving high standards of care. You will lead shifts, coordinate care plans, support families, and liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

This role involves administering and recording medications, carrying out risk assessments, and working with the leadership team to develop services while helping residents stay active and independent.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in health and social care desirable.
• Be well-organised, IT literate and adept at allocating and delegating work.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise others.
• A good understanding of care planning processes.
• Experience or willingness to undertake medication administration training.

The Role

• Leading and supervising your shift
• Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered

About You

• NVQ Level 3 in health and social care desirable
