A prominent care home provider in the UK is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to ensure quality individualized care for residents. This part-time position involves assessing needs, formulating care plans, and leading the care team. Senior Care Assistant – Flexi Days and Nights 22 hours per week
Introduction to the role
Orchard Care Homes is at the forefront of delivering high quality individual care to meet the person’s needs. Our focus is on ensuring medication is appropriate and providing meaningful activities to everyone.
As one of our Senior Care Assistants, you will be responsible for assessing the individuals needs and formulating person-centred care plans, ensuring that medical, physical, and emotional needs are met. Administering medication safely is paramount, all our senior care assistants are provided with additional training to ensure competency and knowledge of the medication used in our homes.
You will have previous care experience, within Older People’s care or within a dementia setting. It is a requirement to have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
