A leading care provider in Scotland is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and deliver personalised care to residents, including those with dementia. The role requires strong communication, record-keeping skills, and a qualification in Adult Social Care. One of your key responsibilities is to lead a team of Care Assistants, plan and implement the kind of care that will give residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, helping to deliver truly personalised care plans. You may assist with activities, support a Registered Nurse and Care Manager, and participate in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication.
Safeguarding is everyone?s responsibility. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You should seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
