Overview

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement the kind of care that gives our residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
  • Get to know residents and their families, helping to ensure we deliver truly personalised care plans.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care; be a real influence on the rest of the team.
  • Provide care activities, including showing how to use a walking frame, assisting with meals at end of life, and communicating with residents' families.
  • Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administer medication.
  • Maintain accurate records of the care you provide and build strong relationships with the rest of the team.
  • Safeguarding: recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do with concerns, attend safeguarding training, and escalate when action is not taken.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience in elder care environment; ability to lead a team (Senior role).
  • Willingness to undertake safeguarding training and related development; ability to seek advice and report concerns.
  • Full training provided; commitment to professional and personal growth.
