Job summary

Laburnum House is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join Bloomcare Group. You will deliver person-centred care to residents on both day and night shifts, with a 22-hour contract and a pay rate of £13.60 per hour. The role emphasizes flexibility, compassion, and teamwork within a supportive home environment.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Care and familiarity with Safe Handling of Medicines, contributing to a high standard of resident wellbeing and safety.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or higher in Care.
• Knowledge/experience of Safe Handling of Medicines.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant to join us at Laburnum House

Who we’re looking for

You’re someone who has a genuine interest in working within a caring environment and wants to make a real difference in people’s lives. There will be challenging times but you’ll also laugh, have fun and make lasting memories with our residents. We are looking for a candidate with flexibility, able to cover both days and night shifts.

A working knowledge of current Person Centred Care planning practice and delivery is advantageous. You'll have NVQ Level 3 or above in Care and have experience the Safe Handling of Medicines.

Salary and Hours

Hourly rate - £13.60

Day shifts -8am-8pm

Night Shifts - 8pm - 8am

Contract - 22 hour contract
