A leading care provider in Leeds is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide compassionate care to residents in a meaningful role. Full-time position requires flexibility for day or night shifts, and strong teamwork skills. Please note that this is a full-time role working either day or night shifts from 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am - 44 hours per week. Full flexibility is required. Core duties include planning and implementing care to provide security, dignity and independence; leading a team of Care Assistants; maintaining high standards of care; assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; delivering physical and mental stimulation through activities; administering medication; maintaining accurate records; building strong team relationships; and delivering truly personalised care plans for residents and their families. You will support residents by showing how to use assistive devices, helping with meals, and communicating with residents’ families as needed. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care and work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with background in person-centred care planning and dementia care knowledge. Essential is positive energy, ability to get along with people, good record-keeping, time management, and kindness in all interactions.

Essential: NVQ or Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable). Experience in Health & Social Care settings. Ability to work in a team and communicate with residents and colleagues with kindness.
Desirable: NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
