A reputable care provider in Humberston is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and provide compassionate care to residents. You will implement personalised care plans, maintain patient dignity, and ensure the highest standards of care. Ideal candidates should have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care and a strong commitment to person-centred care. Various benefits and training opportunities are provided.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will plan and implement care to give residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence, get to know residents and their families, and help deliver truly personalised care plans. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintain the highest standards of care, and be a positive influence on the team. You may assist with showing how to use a walking frame, helping at mealtimes, or communicating with a resident’s family, always with kindness as a priority. You will work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide essential physical and mental stimulation through activities, and may administer medication.
One of your key responsibilities is to maintain accurate records of your work and build strong relationships with the team.
Qualifications and attributes: Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with a background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of dementia care. What is essential is a positive energy and ability to get along with people, good record-keeping, effective time management, and being considerate and kind in all communications.
