Job Summary
Night Shift Position 38.5 hours working a 3 on 3 off rotation. As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will plan and implement the kind of care that gives our residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
You will get to know our residents and their families, helping to ensure we deliver truly personalised care plans.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care and influencing the rest of the team.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and other clinical duties as required.
- Maintain accurate records of tasks and communicate updates to the team.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent).
- Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care.
- Background in person‑centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Positive energy, strong communication skills, ability to manage time effectively, and a considerate, kind approach to residents and coworkers.
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect.
