Senior Support Worker – Opportunity Overview

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Support Worker to work in an exceptional home based in the Woodbridge, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This special service specialises in a range of care services, including residential care, respite care, dementia care and convalescence care.

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities
  • Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
  • Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
  • Contribute to care planning and coach support workers.
  • Play an active professional role in promoting the services when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries.
  • Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation.
  • Make and report realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care.
  • Administer medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures.

    The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £14.00 per hour and the annual salary is £26,208 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and nights available.
