Main Responsibilities
  • Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere that promotes resident independence and dignity.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised care to residents.
  • Supervise and lead a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support.
  • Administer medications.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Perform personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring the health and safety of residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in developing, implementing, and updating care plans and carrying out review meetings.
  • Maintain a clean and organised environment in the care home.
  • Uphold confidentiality and respect for residents' rights and privacy.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Qualifications
