Overview

Senior Care Assistant role focusing on supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Responsibilities include monitoring residents' wellbeing, involvement in person-centred care planning, supporting with medication requirements, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of changes impacting care and care plans, ensure new needs are met, and update written records to reflect variations.
  • Be involved in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
  • Act as a key contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and for health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
