A leading care provider is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Cramlington to provide dedicated and compassionate care to residents. You will lead a team while maintaining high standards and developing personalized care plans. Candidates must have senior care experience and relevant NVQ qualifications. As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, Kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. Get to know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans. Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care and influencing the rest of the team. Demonstrate kindness in all interactions, from helping with walking frames to supporting residents at the end of life. Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with physical and mental stimulation activities and medication administration.

Day and night shift available, 8‑8 alternation, weekend work. Plan and deliver care that gives residents security, dignity and independence. Build strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues. Maintain accurate records and manage time effectively. Ensure safeguarding requirements are met and report concerns appropriately.
