Main duties of the job

Planning and implementing care that gives residents a sense of security, dignity and independence. Getting to know residents and families, delivering personalised care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, maintaining high standards of care. Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities and administering medication.

Job responsibilities
  • Day shift 8–8 with alternate weekend working, 33 or 44 hours.
  • Planning and implementing personalised care plans.
  • Leading a team of Care Assistants.
  • Assisting registered nurse and care manager with medication and activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and strong relationships with the team.
  • Recognising signs of abuse, harm or neglect and reporting concerns.
