Job description

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your role will involve planning and delivering care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You'll get to know residents and their families, helping to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness will be your guiding principle.

You'll assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through activities and administering medication. Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key responsibilities.

Ideally, you'll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia. Your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, and time management skills are essential.
