Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for providing personalised, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate records where required.
  • Support and mentor junior care staff, ensuring they provide excellent care.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and other staff members.

  • Full time position, 39.5 hours
  • Shifts include alternate weekends
