Job summary

The VerseOne Group is seeking a Senior Cardiac Physiologist (Band 6) or Chief Cardiac Physiologist (Band 7) for Devices/Invasive in Chelmsford, UK. You will be responsible for pacemaker and ICD implants, device follow ups, and home monitoring reviews.

You will demonstrate independence in bradycardia pacing and basic cardiac angiography, with involvement in complex investigations and training of staff across cardiology teams.

Qualifications

• Independence in bradycardia pacing (implant and follow up)
• Competence in basic cardiac angiography
• Specialist knowledge in rhythm management and CIEDs
• Ability to supervise and train staff at all levels

Responsibilities

• Perform Pacemaker/ICD procedures and follow ups
• Carry out device programming and remote monitoring reviews
• Analyse device-patient interactions and report suitability to implanting physician
• Attend ICD/CRT-D deactivations and device reprogramming as needed
• Deliver comprehensive reports and support multidisciplinary team
