Job summary

A leading mental health services provider in Slough is seeking a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join the Berkshire CAMHS East Specialist Community Team. This role involves conducting assessments and therapeutic interventions, managing a caseload, and providing supervision. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral qualification in psychology, experience in CAMHS, and the ability to work autonomously. Qualifications

  • Eligibility for Chartered Membership of British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Experience of working in CAMHS.
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload of patients autonomously.
  • Car driver with ability and readiness to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions to young people and their families.
  • Provide care co-ordination for young people open to the service.
  • Independently manage an appropriately sized caseload.
  • Offer supervision and training to junior colleagues.
  • Contribute to audit, service development and research.
