Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) invites applications for a Band 7 mental health practitioner within Salford Thrive in Education. Qualifications

• Working knowledge of CAMHS and/or adult mental health.
• Demonstrable range of skills to deliver clinical care autonomously.
• Experience with CBT IAPT interventions and supervision of low intensity practitioners desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload with high quality care for children, young people and families.
• Conduct mental state and risk assessments and formulate management plans.
• Perform family and social assessments and provide therapeutic interventions.
• Provide team leadership and supervision to staff at all levels, including trainees.
• Coordinate training and consultation with education colleagues to improve school settings’ mental health support.
