Job summary

Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner or Clinical Psychologist to join the Sefton Enhanced Support Team within CAMHS. The role involves clinical work with children and young people with complex needs, case management responsibility, and supervision for junior staff and trainees.

The post is integrated with Children’s Services including Social Care and Youth Justice, requiring experience in multi-agency work and high-risk scenarios.

Qualifications

• Clinical psychologists or CAMHS clinicians with relevant registration and practice.
• Experience in assessment and evidence-based interventions with children/young people.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical work of CAMHS and Enhanced Support Team.
• Provide case management for workload and supervision to junior staff.
• Offer guidance and consultation to multidisciplinary colleagues and families.
