A healthcare organization is seeking a Senior CAMHS Practitioner to provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for children and young people. The role involves managing a clinical caseload, offering ongoing consultations, and working within a multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Blackpool, and offers a competitive salary within the NHS pay band system.
To work within a multidisciplinary team offering full comprehensive assessments and interventions in a range of settings, and evaluate the mental health care to children, young people and their families in line with local and national guidelines.
To provide regular and on‑going consultation, joint work, training and advice to other agency staff in relation to child and adolescent mental health to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified and experienced registered professionals to work within the Blackpool Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). You will work as a Senior CAMHS Practitioner within a multidisciplinary team offering full assessments, intervention and evaluation of the mental health care to children, young people and their families in a variety of settings, and in line with local and national guidelines. You will also provide regular and on‑going consultation, joint work, training and advice to other agency staff in relation to child and adolescent mental health to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
