Senior CAD Technician / Draughtsperson – Construction Sector

Role Overview

This is a full-time, office-based role focused primarily on 2D AutoCAD work, with scope to develop 3D skills using Inventor. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and detailing of structural components, working closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry
• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD (essential)
• Willingness to learn and develop 3D skills (Inventor)
• Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone
• Backgrounds that transfer well include: structural framing (timber/steel/aluminium), curtain walling, roofing, and cladding
• Not suitable for candidates from product design, interiors, or visual design backgrounds
