Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies is seeking a senior software developer to own and evolve trading software. You will develop, maintain and enhance applications that support trading workflows across asset classes, working closely with traders and engineers to improve architecture while preserving production stability.

The role emphasizes strong C#/.NET development, concurrent programming and high-performance systems, with opportunities to contribute to a new trading platform and ongoing production

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong C# and .NET development experience.
• Good understanding of multithreading, concurrency, asynchronous programming and thread safety.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing and modern development practices.
• Experience developing or supporting trading systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance applications supporting trading workflows.
• Investigate production issues and deliver fixes and improvements while maintaining system stability.
• Contribute to the architecture and development of a new trading platform.
• Understand existing workflows and business logic and ensure critical functionality is carried forward into new systems.
• Collaborate with traders, developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Improve system performance, reliability and maintainability across both existing and new applications.
