Job summary

Pinewood is expanding its UK engineering hub and seeks a senior developer to help shape architectural decisions, mentor peers, and deliver high-quality features for the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform. You will stay hands-on across the full .NET stack while collaborating with UK-based Product and Engineering teams to maintain enterprise SaaS standards.

The role involves working in a hybrid setup, mentoring, and contributing to secure, scalable software with modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Senior Developer with SaaS/enterprise software experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET / .NET Core and SQL / T-SQL.
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript and Razor.
• Experience integrating with third-party systems via REST APIs.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio or VS Code.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery and end-to-end SDLC.
• Experience in enterprise SaaS or high-availability platforms would help.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UK Product and Engineering teams to deliver features for Pinewood AI Platform.
• Remain hands-on in coding, design, and architecture across the .NET stack.
• Mentor and coach team members and foster a learning culture.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Support Engineering Manager with shaping local processes, CI/CD and practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions and long-term technical decisions.
• Encourage strong communication across UK engineering teams.
• Diagnose issues, review code, and lead resolution of technical challenges.
• Contribute to building a high-performing team culture in the new hub.
• Contribute to information security strategy and regulatory compliance.
