Senior C# Engineer – Renewable Energy Trading – 6‑month rolling contract, 600–700 per day outside IR35, hybrid 2–3 days per week in London.

Responsibilities

• Design and build real‑time trading and analytics platforms.
• Develop microservices architecture using Azure cloud technologies (Functions, Service Bus, Event Hub, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate closely with traders, data engineers, and DevOps specialists to deliver event‑driven solutions that power trading decisions and optimise market operations.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Proven experience building microservices‑based architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (Functions, Service Bus, Event Hub, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience with event‑driven / message‑based systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Service Bus).
• Energy or Commodity Trading domain experience (essential).
• Exposure to low‑latency systems or real‑time data processing is highly desirable.
