Qualifications

• Senior Buyer experience in a manufacturing or engineered environment.
• Proven track record of cost reduction and PPV control.
• Strong negotiation, commercial and cost analysis skills.
• Experience managing supplier performance and contracts.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally.
• Experience of using ERP/MRP systems and good Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing relationships of Key Suppliers and Sub-Contractors.
• Sourcing new Suppliers and negotiating terms.
• Delivering cost savings through negotiation and re-sourcing.
• Managing complex BOMs and material cost structures.
• Acting as an escalation point for supply issues.
• Managing Supplier performance metrics.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Quality and Planning.
• Assisting in process improvement implementation.
