• Deep, applied expertise in public sector procurement legislation (PA23), governance, and assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction on procurement routes, commercial models, and contracting approaches for major programmes.
• Enable long-term category and supplier development including resilience and social value.
• Lead governance and assurance across procurement lifecycle stages.
• Oversee cost control, forecasting, and commercial risk exposure.
• Represent the organisation in external commercial forums and negotiations.
