As a Senior Buyer, you will:
  • Lead and manage procurement activities within the Commodity Teams, implementing national contracts tendered on behalf of Health Boards by National Procurement.
  • Undertake local contracting and tendering activities to meet the diverse needs of the Health Board.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and procurement regulations while contributing to cost savings and supporting the Sustainability & Value Programme.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the health system, negotiating and managing contracts to deliver quality and value.
