About your role

As our Senior Buyer you will negotiate with selected manufacturers contract terms including but not limited to SLA and cost breakdown per product needed to meet Supply Chain requirements while managing timing and quality in line with functional, business, region & Suntory objectives.

You will build and manage a suppliers panel. Develop and implement Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for key SKUs. Participate to Make or Buy process on ad hoc basis.

What You’ll Do
Accountability 1: Budget & cost optimisation/ Performance reporting

Set budget standard prices for his/her portfolio & follow purchase price variances in close relation with Procurement Ingredient & Packaging teams

Deliver financial targets for the portfolio through negotiations activities and proactive optimization projects

Drive the negotiation on all the terms & conditions including SLA and prices review.

Ensure appropriate reporting to the Procurement management.

Accountability 2 : Market insights, strategies development and business partnering

Follow up market evolutions regularly to identify new risks & opportunities.

Manage proactively communication with stakeholders to share relevant market information

Participate to Make or Buy study when relevant (current portfolio/new project).

Accountability 3 : Compliance, Supplier Performance & risk management

Hold regular Business Review Meeting (BRM) with most critical suppliers. Besides negotiation areas, monitor quality & KPI’s adherence

Develop and negotiate performance improvement plan over the years.

In a close collaboration with other departments (Finance, Supply Chain and Quality), having clear action plans and follow up done during the year.

Prepare & contribute proactively to company manufacturers-annual reviews

Maintain risk analysis & ensure we have BCP in place with our key partners

Develop alternative sourcing (locations, suppliers, specifications) when relevant

Develop framework agreements & drive continuous improvement by putting in place SLA / KPI’s

Develop and implement BCP’s for key SKUs.

Accountability 4 : Continuous Improvement, Innovation & Sustainability

Define and follow a pipeline of Costs Out / Value In (COVI) / Value optimization ideas

Proactively support the organisation to progress on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & organic topics

Contribute to Indirect and Procurement function continuous improvement though feedback and new solutions proposal

What You need to be successful

University degree level, technical or economical. A Procurement specialization is a plus

Solid purchasing/supply chain experience

Knowledge and experience of the sector Industrial, Drinks or Copacking are a plus

Excel, PPT & Procurement IT tools

Fluent in English. French & Spanish are a plus
