Senior Buyer GBP48,000 - GBP60,000 Merseyside Hybrid

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join a dynamic, creative, and high-performing team within one of the UK's longest standing fashion and lifestyle brands.You'll bring strong product intuition, commercial acumen, and proven leadership, driving strategy, delivering results, and inspiring your team & those around you to achieve their best.

In this role, you'll play a key role in developing the department's vision each season, managing supplier relationships, and executing ambitious buying strategies that balance creativity, profitability, and innovation.

As the Experienced Buyer, You Will:

• Lead, develop, and inspire your team
• Review and improve ways of working, driving greater efficiency and clarity across the team.
• Take ownership of strategic range building, ensuring well-balanced collections that reflect brand DNA, customer needs, and commercial targets.
• Plan all buys in collaboration with your Merchandiser, aligning to budgets, forecasts, and business objectives.
• Identify gaps and opportunities across ranges, capitalising on emerging trends and sales data.
• Build and deliver "lessons learned" presentations for leadership - providing clear insights and forward strategies from trading performance.
• Communicate best and worst sellers, driving clear actions and learnings across the wider team.
• Own supplier strategy with onboarding new partners, maintaining strong relationships, and conducting regular supplier visits.
• Manage sourcing across multi-product categories, balancing short- and long-lead production both in the Far East and closer to home.
• Demonstrate strong trading performance, achieving margin, sales, and cash targets.
• Partner with Merchandising on OTB management, seasonal budgeting, and forecasting.
• Analyse historical and in-season data to inform commercial decisions and shape future strategies.
• Oversee Monday trade reporting, ensuring key actions are understood and implemented across the team.
• Manage critical paths and delivery schedules, ensuring smooth launches and timely product drops.
• Communicate any stock issues, delays, or cancellations clearly and promptly across departments.
• Oversee campaign and trigger dates, ensuring key styles land on time to support all marketing platforms and trading plans.
