Job summary

Insite Finance in Cardiff is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and to act as a trusted adviser to clients on complex accounting matters.

You will meet with clients regularly, review statutory accounts, and guide owners on reporting, structures, and financial decision-making, while developing junior staff and identifying growth opportunities for additional services.

Qualifications

• Strong technical grounding in accounting principles.
• Experience advising clients on technical or commercial issues.
• Ability to lead and develop junior colleagues while managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
• Holding regular face-to-face meetings with clients.
• Reviewing statutory accounts and more complex accounting work.
• Advising clients when unusual technical or commercial issues arise.
• Supporting business owners with reporting, structures and financial decision-making.
• Managing workflow across the team and developing more junior colleagues.
• Identifying opportunities to broaden relationships and introduce additional services.
