Job summary

Page Personnel in Worcester is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a portfolio of clients within a growing Midlands firm. You will prepare accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns for manager review, assist with bookkeeping and VAT, and help ensure portfolio compliance.

You will coach junior team members and act as buddy to new starters, demonstrating organisation, attention to detail and workload prioritisation in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA part qualified or qualified.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of accounts, Corporation tax and personal tax returns for manager review.
• Assistance with bookkeeping and VAT returns where required.
• Assistance to portfolio holders with the compliance of their portfolios where required.
• Provide coaching to junior members of the team, acting as buddy to new starters.
