Software Sales - Logistics

Up to £90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Remote with UK Travel

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in selling Logistics Software Sales? Our client is a global Logistics and Supply Chain Software Solution provider. This role involves developing and converting a sales pipeline and accountability for individual sales reporting. The Senior Business Development Manager will support sales initiatives and collaborate across the business to convert significant opportunities with corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:
    • Sales Growth: Develop a new business sales pipeline aligned with sales KPIs, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting
    • Strategic projects/bids: Coordinate strategic bid responses
    • Key/global accounts: Maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities with key clients; assume sales leadership responsibilities as appropriate
    • Culture Building: Promote a motivated sales culture emphasizing success, inclusivity, and growth

Client Relationship Management:

  • Client-centricity: Build relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting solutions
  • Source and Selection: Generate qualified leads from activity and network

Business Partnership:

  • Communication: Collaborate with Sales Director, Marketing Directors, and Analysts to align strategies
  • Deal Focused: Support new business opportunities to drive revenue
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee and report on sales activities
  • Lead Generation: Partner with Marketing to generate leads
  • Data-driven: Develop KPIs and use data insights for strategy

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager
