Job Title : Senior Business Development Manager

Location : Aberdeen Preferred, Glasgow considerable

Reporting Line : Reports directly to Chief Commercial Officer

Department : Heads Business Development Department within the Commercial Team

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead our Business Development Department within the Commercial Team. This pivotal role will drive strategic growth, manage key client relationships, and oversee a team of Business Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Business Development Department, overseeing all BDMs
  • Develop and execute BD strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Manage BD stakeholders and deliverables across multiple projects
  • Oversee end-to-end BD pipeline and client relationship management
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for the BD team
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align BD initiatives with commercial goals
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven track record in business development leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of Offshore Maritime and Oil & Gas sectors
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead strategic initiatives and deliver measurable results
  • Established network within the industry
Industry Experience

Essential : Offshore Maritime and Oil & Gas

Preferred : Renewables
