Industry-leading global events business seeks a highly talented and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join their fast-growing events sales team, selling across their flagship tech and telco portfolio.

This role is a highly focused senior sales opportunity, selling bespoke sponsorship and exhibition packages for an industry-leading portfolio.

The role offers significant opportunities to secure both existing and new business. There is a highly attractive, tiered commission structure with the potential to earn 100% of base salary in bonus.

The position will involve some international travel to global events and face-to-face client meetings.

Responsibilities

Sell bespoke sponsorship and exhibition packages for the company portfolio.

Develop and close new business opportunities as well as manage existing accounts.

Attend international events and conduct face-to-face client meetings as required.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in B2B events — ideally selling across conferences and expositions.
  • Ideally some experience or knowledge of insurance, tech, or telecoms.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue results with consistently high performance.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage time to maximise productivity and achieve goals.
  • High emotional intelligence, skilled in building and sustaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly consultative sales approach.
  • Personable and enthusiastic, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach — a true team player committed to collective success.
