Job summary

The Law Support Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading Birmingham-based law firm for a Senior Business Development Executive to join its Business Development & Marketing team. The role offers autonomy and exposure to Partners and fee-earners across the firm.

You will lead and support BD and Marketing plans, identify opportunities with senior stakeholders, manage pitches, campaigns, events and conferences, and support client development and cross-selling initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in Marketing and Business Development at executive level.
• Experience in professional services, ideally a law firm.
• Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders, Partners and fee-earners.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, commercial and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

We are working with a leading law firm that is looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Executive to join its Birmingham-based Business Development & Marketing team.

This is a broad and varied role offering plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with Partners and fee-earners across the firm.

The role will include:

• Supporting and leading Business Development and Marketing plans
• Working closely with Partners and fee-earners to identify new opportunities
• Managing pitches, campaigns, events and conferences
• Supporting client development and cross-selling initiatives
• Conducting client, competitor and market research
• Supporting directory and award submissions
• Tracking and reporting on new business opportunities

We are looking for:

• Ideally 3-5 years' experience within a Marketing and Business Development environment at Executive level
• Previous experience within professional services, ideally a law firm
• Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders, Partners and fee-earners
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A proactive, commercial and collaborative approach

Working pattern: Hybrid - minimum two days per week in the office
