Job summary

Arup in Manchester is seeking a proactive Senior BD Coordinator to manage the full bid lifecycle—from planning to submission—driving high-quality proposals and winning outcomes.

You will coordinate end-to-end bid production, track progress with stakeholders, and refine content such as case studies and CVs while building strong cross-sector relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in marketing, business or related field (APMP desirable).
• Experience in bid coordination/writing within the UK construction or professional services sectors.
• Understanding of bid processes and governance.
• High proficiency in MS Office, Teams, SharePoint; CRM experience a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail, clear written communication and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Collaborative mindset and the drive to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a proactive Senior BD Coordinator to join our Cities, Planning & Design Portfolio team and play a key role in delivering winning bids. You will manage Arup's full bid lifecycle—from planning and coordination through to submission—helping produce high quality, compelling proposals that showcase our expertise.

This role offers excellent professional development within the UKIMEA BD community and access to a global network of proposal specialists.
