Senior Business Analyst - Records Management Transformation

Location: London - Remote Hybrid (UK-based) | Contract Type: 3 months contract possible extension | Competitive rate

Seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a major Records Management transformation. This role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills to deliver significant enterprise data governance change.

About the Role
  • Network Drive to SharePoint Migration - Support communication, readiness, and data migration.
  • Enterprise Sensitivity Labelling - Implement Microsoft Purview labelling for data protection.
  • Record Retention - Define retention rules, automation, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, IT, and Information Governance stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption of robust information management practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders.
  • Develop high-quality documentation (process maps, business rules, technical requirements).
  • Translate requirements into Agile deliverables (epics, stories, acceptance criteria).
  • Support design, testing, and implementation of SharePoint migration, labelling, and retention solutions.
  • Assist with project governance, reporting, and enterprise training.
  • Provide analysis using SQL, JIRA, and Confluence for decision-making.
Skills & Experience
  • Senior Business Analyst experience in large-scale data/IT transformation.
  • Strong grasp of Records Management, Information Governance, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint, Purview, and data migration.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, including C-suite engagement.
  • Skilled in documentation, process mapping, and requirements elicitation.
  • Proficiency in SQL, JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
