About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in energy and commodities to join the London team onsite. You’ll play a central role in delivering cutting‑edge trading solutions, supporting client implementations, and enhancing the platform’s functionality across various energy markets—including oil, gas, power, certificates, and metals.

This is a hands‑on role working closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure the platform meets evolving market needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Define and manage enhancements to the energy trading framework, including new instruments and workflows
• Translate complex business needs into clear specifications for the product and development teams
• Support implementation projects and platform configuration for energy clients
• Participate in testing and validation of new features and system updates
• Deliver product training and subject matter expertise to internal teams and external users

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the energy trading or commodities domain, ideally within trading systems or vendor platforms
• Solid understanding of commodity derivatives (OTC and exchange‑traded), pricing and risk methodologies, market data, and trade lifecycle processes
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions
• Comfortable working in a client‑facing role with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Degree (Master’s ) in a technical or quantitative field such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
