Job summary

The Consultancy Group (London) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Associate to join our Global Investment team in Central London. You will analyse opportunities, build decision-ready financial models, and support asset valuation work with due diligence expertise.

The role offers hybrid work with three days in the office, exposure to cross-border deals, and opportunities to develop juniors. A finance or math degree and 2–3 years in related analytics are required; CFA/CIMA are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, economics or another relevant discipline.
• Typically two to three years of relevant experience in business analysis, transaction services, corporate finance, valuation, restructuring, consulting or a related analytical environment.
• Professional qualification, or progress towards one, such as CIMA, CFA or an equivalent credential, is desirable.
• Demonstrable experience of building and interpreting financial models and working with complex datasets.

The Opportunity

This role supports the assessment and delivery of commercial opportunities through rigorous analysis of business and financial data. You will translate complex information into clear, decision-ready models and reports that inform new opportunities, monitor live engagements against plan and support client-facing asset valuation work.

The position offers exposure to transaction analysis, financial modelling, due diligence and commercial decision-making, with the scope to manage projects independently and contribute to the development of junior colleagues.

Experience and Qualifications
