We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our highly regarded Business Analysis and Testing team.

About the role

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of leading business analysis that truly makes an impact. You'll be shaping technology changes and improving processes across both our Business Services and Legal Services. Your work will help deliver smarter ways of working and better outcomes for our clients. What you'll be doing
  • Organise and run internal and legal client-facing sessions covering new service design, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the gathering, analysis, prioritisation, and documentation of requirements; work with stakeholders to prioritise based on value to the firm and provide flexible support across the Transformation & Projects Unit to address bottlenecks.
  • Assess current processes, pinpoint improvement opportunities, and use data tools to extract insights and trends that inform actionable recommendations.
  • Resolve complex scoping issues and stakeholder conflicts to support clear project definition and delivery.
  • Produce concise, high-quality documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, third‑party suppliers, and internal teams
  • Contribute to forming business cases, including investigating solution options drawing out benefits and making recommendations to aid decisions.
  • Support with the team Mentoring for apprentices and Junior Business Analysts and share best practice and upskill
  • Collaborate with the Test Manager so UAT test cases are aligned to agreed requirements.
What we are looking for
  • BCS Business Analysis International Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Significant business and systems analysis experience, ideally in professional services. Comfortable applying core BA techniques (e.g., use cases, activity and sequence diagrams).
  • Skilled in data gathering, facilitation, and requirements management. Able to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences and to influence and negotiate constructively.
  • Trusted point of contact for complex queries; escalates issues appropriately; demonstrates strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness.
  • Motivated self-starter who manages changing priorities and conflicting demands with a practical, "can-do" approach.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, including Visio.
