A leading Aerospace organisation in Bedford is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive transformation during a period of complex technological change. The successful candidate will lead the Business Analyst team, ensuring compliance with security requirements and embedding a business-wide change process. Candidates must have a BCS Diploma and be SC Cleared. This inside IR35 contract offers between £500 and £550, providing a chance to impact a cutting-edge R&D environment.

Senior Business Analyst | Defense & Aerospace | Bedford | £500-£550 inside IR35

Are you a highly strategic Senior Business Analyst ready to provide leadership and direction for the BA function during a period of complex digital and technological change? Join a leading Aerospace organisation as they scale 25% in the next 12 months whilst supporting cutting edge R&D.

You Will:

• Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the Business Analyst Team, building capability across the organization.
• Drive Transformation & Change: Design, implement, and embed a standardised business‑wide change process, leading coordination of feasibility / deliverability assessments.
• Ensure Compliance: Lead the assessment of the operational landscape, including security requirements, to ensure compliance with Official‑Sensitive / Secret (OS / S) government data‑handling classifications.
• Process Architecture: Produce high‑level logical diagrams of facilities, networks, and technical specifications and identify operational inefficiencies to embed a continuous improvement mindset.

What We’re Looking For:

• Required Certification: Must possess a BCS Diploma (international preferred).
• Essential Clearance: Must be SC Cleared (Security Check).
• Leadership & Engagement: Proven experience in directing and mentoring other Business Analysts with essential Senior Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership skills.

Product Owner or Scrum Master certification is desirable.
