Job summary

Currie & Brown is a leading global consultancy specialising in physical asset management across healthcare, education, government and infrastructure. We are seeking a Building Surveyor to deliver surveys, specifications, contract administration and project delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Building Surveying degree with MRICS status or working towards chartership, and have strong reporting, client management and collaborative skills. Hybrid working and a clear career path are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Building Surveying or related discipline.
• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership.
• Experience delivering professional building surveying services.
• Knowledge of contract administration and project delivery.
• Strong technical reporting and communication skills.
• Experience managing client relationships and multiple projects.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building surveying projects and professional instructions from inception to completion.
• Undertake building surveys, condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical inspections.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work and technical reports.
• Deliver contract administration, project management and dilapidations services.
• Carry out site inspections and clerk of works duties.
• Manage project budgets, programmes and stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce high-quality deliverables on time and to the highest professional standards.
