Job summary

JLL in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to manage high‑value commercial portfolios. You will conduct comprehensive surveys, prepare technical reports and develop repair/refurbishment specifications (£500k+).

You will lead dilapidations negotiations, craft preventative maintenance strategies and perform reinstatement cost assessments across retail, office, industrial and logistics sectors. Travel regionally with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification in Building Surveying with 3–5+ years' PQE in commercial consultancy.
• Proven dilapidations, building surveys and contract administration experience.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills; commercial acumen.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally; full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and in teams.
