Our client, a forward-thinking consultancy, is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their Plymouth office, with strong links across the region. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines core vocational expertise with the ability to integrate seamlessly into multiple offices, bringing a friendly, entrepreneurial, and self-assured approach to their work.

Initially, the role will involve hands-on project work, such as supporting the project management of smaller schemes, for example a farm project in Cornwall. At the same time, the ideal candidate will proactively identify new work streams across both public and private sectors, demonstrating a strong and authentic understanding of retrofit, professional, and project-based work.

The role requires someone confident in getting out into the South West market, building relationships, and embedding themselves in local communities. You will lead projects from site inspections and assessments to producing detailed reports, while also seeking opportunities to expand the business and deliver meaningful impact.
