Overview

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality building consultancy services and managing key client relationships across the Midlands. You'll work across a variety of projects with core responsibilities including technical due diligence, surveys, and project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Technical due diligence for commercial and residential properties
  • Preparing specifications, drawings, and risk assessments for refurbishments and maintenance
  • Conducting building surveys, schedules of condition, dilapidation assessments, and defect analysis
  • Leading QA processes and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
  • Technical due diligence

  • Project management
  • Planned maintenance programmes
  • Building surveys and defect diagnosis
Qualifications
  • MRICS (essential), Chartered Member of RICS (or equivalent), or actively working towards chartership
  • Strong background in Building Surveying with experience in party wall matters, dilapidations, and defect analysis
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
