Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and delivering a broad range of building surveying services, including condition surveys, defect analysis, feasibility studies and technical due diligence
  • Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation
  • Leading and coordinating interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Acting as a key client interface, building and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Overseeing contract administration, including monitoring works on site and managing contractor performance
  • Providing professional advice across education, commercial, healthcare and other sectors
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to knowledge‑sharing within the wider consultancy
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards and industry best practice
Requirements
  • MRICS accreditation or working towards it
  • A relevant Building Surveying degree (or equivalent)
  • Strong technical expertise in building surveying
  • Proven ability to manage programmes and budgets effectively
  • Experience in relevant sectors such as education, healthcare or commercial would be ideal
  • Excellent client‑facing skills and relationship‑building capability
  • Experience leading interdisciplinary teams (advantageous)
