Job summary

Hunter Dunning Ltd is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor for a growing multidisciplinary consultancy delivering housing, education, commercial, health, and emergency services projects. You will take on contract administration, act as Employer’s Agent, and lead client liaison across diverse building types.

The role emphasizes strong project management, site inspections, feasibility studies, and the preparation of drawings and specifications, with opportunities for autonomy and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge and project delivery experience.
• Experience across housing, education, healthcare, or commercial sectors.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead client liaison, briefs, and project delivery.
• Undertake site inspections, surveys, and feasibility studies.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and statutory applications.
• Manage tenders, analyse results, and draft contracts.
• Deliver professional services (Party Wall, condition surveys, etc.).
• Oversee and delegate to team members on projects.
