Job description

This leading, independent civil and structural consultancy has an opportunity for a senior building structures engineer. They are looking for a project engineer or senior engineer who is interested in further progression to associate director. The practice is a well regarded employer and an award winning medium sized business. Projects are typically valued up to £100 million, they include multi-storey mixed use commercial/ residential high rise, major civic refurbishment, a £60m 10,000 Sqm commercial office, corporate headquarters, industrial process and healthcare schemes.

Their broad workload will provide plenty of technical interest and variety. It will offer regular collaboration with in-house building services and civil engineering colleagues to produce fully integrated design packages. Reporting to the divisional director you will be responsible for front end design, fee negotiation, design delivery and the management of a small team of engineers and technicians. You will work closely with architects, developers and contractors providing the high standard of customer care that is a feature of their service, there will be regular contact with clients and occasional site visits.
