Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Building Services Manager or similar in construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience in a main contractor environment is highly desirable.
• Experience managing MEP packages across multiple projects in London.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEP delivery across multiple London projects, ensuring safety, programme and quality.
• Manage mechanical and electrical subcontractors and project teams.
• Coordinate MEP design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Resolve coordination issues between MEP and wider construction activities.
• Work with Project Managers, Site Managers and commercial teams to deliver packages.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and compliance.

The Role

Elliott Group UK is seeking an experienced Senior Building Services Manager to oversee mechanical and electrical services across multiple construction projects throughout London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Senior Building Services Manager with extensive MEP experience to take responsibility for building services delivery across several live projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical installations, ideally gained within a main contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee MEP delivery across multiple construction projects in London, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Manage mechanical and electrical subcontractors, consultants and project teams across multiple sites.
• Coordinate MEP design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, design submissions and construction programmes.
• Monitor building services progress, identify potential delays and implement corrective actions where required.
• Resolve technical and coordination issues between mechanical, electrical and wider construction activities.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and commercial teams to ensure effective delivery of building services packages.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and compliance across all projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Building Services Manager, Building Services Manager or Senior MEP Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of both mechanical and electrical building services.
• Previous experience working for a main contractor is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable experience managing MEP packages across multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of building services design coordination, construction programming, testing and commissioning.
• Excellent subcontractor management, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and oversee multiple project teams across London.
