Job summary

Croydon Council is recruiting a Senior Technical Building Safety Manager to drive building safety compliance across housing stock. You will lead on safety strategy, ensure regulatory obligations are met and maintain the Golden Thread information flow.

You will work with residents, regulators and contractors, reviewing surveys, remediation plans and managing specialist consultants to deliver safe, compliant homes.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Building Safety Act 2022 and related regulations.
• Experience in building safety, asset compliance, and housing assets.
• Proven track record in Building Safety Cases and Golden Thread information.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of Building Safety Cases and Golden Thread records.
• Provide technical leadership on building safety compliance across housing stock.
• Engage residents, contractors and regulators to manage safety risks.
• Support fire safety strategies, surveys, remediation and contractor oversight.
